Southend Nights

Southend Nights is a partnership project between Southend Pubwatch, Southend City BID, Essex Police and Southend-on-Sea City Council. Our purpose is to support workers, residents, and visitors of the city at night, from 6pm-6am.

Supporting the City and Everyone at Night

Outside of regular collaboration through schemes such as Pubwatch and the Evening and Night Time Economy Group, Southend businesses and safety organisations stay connected on a day-to-day basis using radios and the ALERT system.
